Appalled to discover when I got home and reviewed my receipt that, despite having discussed and confirmed the sales discount applied to each of my purchases, I was charged a lower reduction than that stated on the ticket and confirmed at the point of sale, thus necessitating contacting the store, to be told that sometimes staff become tired and I can collect a credit note once the amount of the error (which was acknowledged had occurred) was computed. Credit note? Why ... surely a refund is more appropriate?
